Seu nome original "ヤミカラス" lê-se "Yamikarasu", sua tradução literal do japonês ao português seria: Corvo das Trevas, Corvo Sombrio ou Corvo da Escuridão. Sendo que "Yami" significa Trevas, escuridão, e "Karasu" é literalmente Corvo.
