Biologia
Fisiologia
Cubone aparenta ser um pequeno e marrom pokémon, que constantemente usa uma caveira (supostamente o crânio de sua mãe), como um capacete. O crânio mascara sua verdadeira face, o que o torna um enigma para muitos treinadores e pesquisadores. Ele carrega um outro osso, que ele usa para atacar com movimentos como Bone Club.
Cubone tem um corpo roliço com uma barriga de cor mais pálida, com membros com fortes garras para utilizar seu osso como uma arma. Cubone possui apenas um dedo no pé e dois picos em suas costas. A pequena cauda também está presente para o equilíbrio, mas ela pode ser usado para atacar.

Ele tem a capacidade de exercer o seu osso como uma arma eficaz, ou jogá-la da mesma maneira como um bumerangue.
Cubone, e sua evolução, Marowak, são os únicos pokemons conhecidos que podem aprender Bone Club e Bonemerang, e costumavam serem os únicos pokémons que podiam aprender Bone Rush até o aparecimento de Lucario que também pode usá-lo.
