Em Pokémon Ruby/Emerald/Sapphire este pokémon não é encontrado normalmente, para tê-lo é preciso ir para o canto superior direito do deserto na Rota 111 e escolher o Claw Fossil. Depois vá para a Devon Corporation (na Rustboro City), vá ao segundo andar e entregue o fóssil para um dos cientistas de lá e volte a falar com ele depois de um tempo com 1 espaço para pokémon sobrando e ele te dará o Anorith.
